Secrets of The Holocaust Explored in One-Man Show
A one-man show explores the lesser known parts of The Holocaust through the eyes of several characters in the world premiere of The Obligation, a piece written and performed by New York-based actor and playwright Roger Grunwald. Combining drama and humor, Grunwald uses the interconnected history of a Jewish-American comedian, an Auschwitz survivor, a half-Jewish German soldier and a SS General to truly gauge the post-war survivor experience. He then looks at the bigger picture, asking, "Who decides what culture, race and ethnicity mean?" and "What is identity?"
