The tour was great. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and fun. She gave us a lot of history, names, dates, and fun facts about the city's neighborhoods. Definitely recommend it.

Tour distance is about 30 blocks and runs approximately three hours.

There are three blocks of steep downhill walking and two blocks of slight/mild uphill walking on this tour. This is FOOT’s longest tour and isn’t recommended for those wishing to avoid hills or who experience discomfort being on their feet for extended periods.

Ending location is Washington Square Park in North Beach, near Columbus and Powell.
