Directed & Choreographed by Kevin R. Hauge

“I’m singin’ in the rain; just singin’ in the rain. What a glorious feeling; I’m happy again.” It’s the stage adaptation of one of the most celebrated and beloved films of all time. Nineteen-twenties Hollywood is the setting for this zany, light-hearted romantic comedy about the early days of sound film, when many a movie studio found itself scrambling to salvage the career of its chipmunk-voiced silent picture star.

2009-2010 marks the Children’s Musical Theater San Jose Marquee Production’s sixth anniversary. The annual Marquee production has become a CMT tradition and highlights CMT’s full artistic potential with high-caliber entertainment that benefits the organization and the community. Past Marquee productions of Disney’s When You Wish (2009),  Ragtime (2008), Thoroughly Modern Millie (2007), The Full Monty (2006),  and Chess (2005) have set standards high for tthis year’s production, which features a cast of CMT Alumni as well as many professional adult actors from the Bay Area.
