After getting his start in Motown as part of the Commodores, singer-songwriter Lionel Richie became one of the most successful male solo artists of the 1980s, with hits like "Truly," the Caribbean-flavored "All Night Long," "Endless Love" with Diana Ross, "Hello" and "Say You, Say Me," which also won an Academy Award and a Golden Globe. Richie's concerts tend to become giant sing-alongs, so brush up on your lyrics and get ready for a night of magic. Sharing the stage with the five-time Grammy winner will be CeeLo Green. Known for his solo career as well as being a part of the soul duo Gnarls Barkley, Green has recorded numerous hits and is most widely recognized for the chart-topping single "Crazy" and his time as a judge on The Voice. Jeff Bridges & The Abiders put on a great show. It was non-stop fun from the minute Jeff introduced the opening act, Jessie Bridges (his daughter) until the 2nd ending. He came back and sang 3 additional songs! I wanted to run down and tell him that I remembered him from a very long time ago. I grew up in Opal Cliffs/Pleasure Point where his family vacationed and they knew our friends who owned Pampels Pharmacy. I loved the way he introduced the songs, telling us how they came into being and sharing stories. One of the very best concerts my daughter and I have been to. Mountain Winery is still my favorite venue and the dinner before the show was delicious.
