From atmosphere to acting, this was a beautiful performance at an intimate venue. Shady Shakespeare hasn't ceased to amaze me yet.

Oh Romeo, Romeo; What did you say? The Shady Shakespeare company uses Sanborn Park every summer to present an innovative rendition of one of the Bard's plays. Last year, we saw a science-fiction version of Pericles and were enthralled by the...continued

Seats were a little close together, folding chairs, but they couldn't be moved, they were strapped together. Have always loved the venue.
I've been going to Shady Shakespeare for years. I didn't think the acting was up to Shady's standards.

Fun Outdoor event, snacks and wine available; have $6 ready (per car) to pay for park entry. Lighting and walkways improved since last year from Parking to seating area.

We always enjoy Shady Shakespeare productions and especially love the venue. The acting in this production was uneven. The major roles were well acted, but the acting in the minor roles was merely adequate. No matter, we will keep coming to...continued

I loved the concept of placing the story in the 1960's with beatnik Montagues and "Mad Men" Capulets.

OK for the price. The venue (Sanborn Park) is very casual, just folding chairs in a dirt floor amphitheater. We brought a picnic and were able to find available picnic benches nearby before the show. Bringing wine into the amphitheater is...continued

The play Romeo and Juliet was a nice experience, nice setting of the stage and very calm and easy going. The actresses in general did a good job, however, some of them didn't. The pastor, Romeo and Juliet where great! I was a bit disappointed that...continued
