Terminally talky with zero plot and nothing much to say. Some of the saying at moments of anger are shouted, no yelled, in what too often passes for acting. Spare sets are fine when the vacuum on stage is filled with great dialogue or oration....continued

There was a good play trapped in here--trying to come out. It was defeated by Too much speechifying over drawn characters and worse--
mugging by the actors. A real disappointment.

Nora “arrived” full of certitude and truth. It was easy to identify with her. Slowly the other family members tell their truth and somehow THE truth is now multi-layered, ambiguous as the ST review offered.

Pamela Reed can do no wrong and Laura Kenny with her clarion voice is a riot. This play was fascinating to listen to.
