This was an amazing theatrical experience. I came expecting a traditional Greek drama and possible boredom or lewd repetitive attempts at humor. However, this show was thoroughly entertaining, funny, and moving. The humor was quite raunchy so...continued

It seemed longer than it was.

There is a simple reason for that. The content of Aristophane's very old comedies runs out well before the play does. I have seen Clouds, Birds, Frogs etc and it is always the same....a modern playwright uses the...continued

Ancient play that is timeless and relevant to today. Great acting and singing. Great way to spend part of a Sunday afternoon.

The acting was terrible and it was a bit crass. We walked out halfway through.

Yes, it is bawdy and raunchy, but so is the original. The visual humor (phalluses galore) may discomfort some viewers, but is absolutely hilarious. Great acting, tight timing, marvelous costuming and a recreation of the ancient play in a way...continued

It was so well done - the actors were wonderful and the play was a combination of classic and new stories that worked really well together.

Now I know the answer to the following: what if a military troupe staged a classic Greek play? See it if you can!

I went with a companion. She checked the original play out of the library to prepare. It was in Greek! I went with a vague idea of what the play was about which I heard from a friend over 40 years ago! Reading the program before curtain, we...continued

FIVE STARS! And if I could have given this production/the people involved more stars than that, I would have! I have two advanced degrees in English disciplines, and I've read "Lysistrata" more than once in a classroom environment ... but I've...continued

A play that couldn't decide what it wanted to be and ruined itself. Left before the first act ended. We have never done that before. The cast tried hard and had some talent but the direction was very poor.

Terrific, creative, well done!!! Outstanding cast, set, costumes, adaptation - entire experience touched the audience - generated a standing ovation. The conversation afterwards with the actors, directors and all was fascinating. A couple visiting...continued

enjoyed the show, lead had very good voice, but could have used less emphasis on the penis - the point was made then lost b/c of the constant reveal of a new penis.

This interpretation of the classic Greek play makes a mockery of what is a fun and lively--while simultaneously relevant--show. The language has been modernized, which might have been fine if the rewriters didn't make all of the lines sound like...continued
