Pacific Northwest Ballet's Nutcracker: Set Design by Where the Wild Things Are Creator
$25 - $99*
$41 - $124
Pacific Northwest Ballet director-choreographer Kent Stowell collaborated with renowned children's book author-illustrator Maurice Sendak (Where the Wild Things Are) to create this unique vision of Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker. This Seattle holiday favorite will take its final bows this season after over three decades of making magic and memories. The delightful and dramatic ballet tells the magical story of a young girl who receives a nutcracker as a gift at her family's Christmas party. That night she dreams that her nutcracker comes to life, and together they experience a grand adventure that takes them through an epic battle and a land of snow to the Land of Sweets. This lavish production features over 200 dancers, a live orchestra, a tree that really grows, magnificent costumes and sets, and an in-theater snowfall at every performance.
