Irma Thomas and back up musicians were great and made me nostalgic for New Orleans, where I'm from. She still has a great voice.
Even with the Goldstar discounts, an evening at the Triple Door is very expensive.

We went to the 9:30 performance and were wowed by the vitality of Irma at age 70, her voice, her humor and self-depracation. Using an Ipad for song selection and reminders was classic!

She closed with Forever Young which was a great message. My...continued

Irma Thomas was great! she brought back lots of memories! Her band was tight! The thiple door is a wonderful venue, it has great accustics and is visually stunning.
