Indie Americana Rockers The Empty Pockets
The late, great Buddy Holly has inspired countless great musicians to pursue their craft as performers -- but for indie rock group The Empty Pockets, Holly's legacy is what brought the group together in the first place. Guitarist Josh Solomon, bassist Nate Bellon and drummer Danny Rosenthal met keyboardist and lead vocalist Erika Brett while performing as Buddy Holly and The Crickets in a production of The Buddy Holly Story. When the show was over, the foursome formed their own group playing the blues, soul and Americana sound popularized by Holly and generations of rock musicians before them. With rich harmonies, skilled instrumentalists and powerhouse vocals, The Empty Pockets dominate the stage at The Triple Door in Seattle.
