Sadly there is not a moderately priced cafe/wine bar within 2 blocks. The nearby Radisson (maybe it's a Towne Court) has a very mediocre restaurant. On the corner is a LOUD place 'Waters....something' but I'm concerned that restauranteurs ignore needs of 'mature' people. I sincerely hope when St Paul redoes the former Macy's block, it includes a restaurant/bar similar - if not the same- as the old Rosewood Rm.

This family has been regulars at the History Theater for years. We have always parked in the ramp by the Children's Museum, just a block away. Now we are looking forward to taking the light rail from the burbs and avoiding parking all together. When the Central Corder opens in June, the train will stop literally at the door of the History Theatre. This tremendous venue will be incredibly accessible from anywhere the light rail goes or can be picked up!

Fantastic in every way! Even the acts I didn't find all that interesting were professional and practiced. And the artist painting on stage throughout Act 1 was astonishing. Seriously, seeing a painting evolve and react to each act was so cool! We...continued

It was ok - some of the acts were good and some terrific but there were a few bad ones as well. I thought the mcs were weak - her high pitched voice became very irritating and it was dificult to understand some of what she said because she talked...continued
