I really enjoyed the entire show with Don Friesen headlining. I saw Don about a year ago and he has added about 75% new material since then. I really like it when a comedian continually updates his act rather than doing the same static act year after year. Not Don! He is still fresh and topical and extremely funny. He also incorporates a physical facet to his comedy at times that keeps you holding your sides from splitting. He is a very silly and funny guy and I highly recommended him to anyone.

Really enjoyed Don Friesen, Reggie Steele, and Oshea! Great show! It was my first time at RTF and I have to say, "DON'T CHANGE A THING!" Other than the thermostat! Damn it was cold that night! But I'm cold-natured... RTF was not over-crowded...continued
In 1999, Don Friesen won the prestigious San Francisco International Comedy Competition. In 2005, he returned to the competition with different material and took first place again, becoming the only person to win the competition twice. His first win led to a performance on the Martin Short Show, where, immediately after his set, he was asked to change his shirt and tape a second performance in front of the same audience. The second set aired a month later. Friesen has also appeared on Comedy Central’s Live at Gotham and Byron Allen’s Comics Unleashed. His episode was later tapped for the syndicated program’s compilation Best of Comics Unleashed DVD.
Friesen’s stand-up performance DVD/CD Inexplicable, was taped at the Crest Theatre in Sacramento, CA, and released independently in July 2005. Indie-Music.com reviewed the DVD, saying, “Friesen, to put it simply, nails it. Not a single obscenity or lewd rant and he still connects.”
Don’s Showtime Special, Ask Your Mom, premiered in June of 2012. Humble, energetic and sidesplittingly funny, Friesen entertains a live audience with his physical, self-deprecating style of humor in this winning concert performance.
