In the Heights made a splash on Broadway, winning the 2008 Tony Award for Best Musical and winning over audiences with its fresh-faced charm and vibrant music. Now, Cabrillo Music Theatre brings the musical to Thousand Oaks for its regional professional premiere. With a brilliant cast, incredible hip-hop dancing and a contemporary Latin-flavored score, In the Heights is an exhilarating journey into the lives of the residents of the Dominican-American neighborhood of Washington Heights in New York City. It's a place where the coffee is light and sweet, the windows are always open, and the breeze carries the rhythm of three generations of music. Learn More

- “...the quality of The Colburn Orchestra is first rate, as last night’s concert demonstrated…The program was rigorous. The three works were undoubtedly unfamiliar to some of the students, but you’d never know it by the confident and exemplary playing they exhibited.” --Pasadena Star-News
