Plan to be here for about 3 hours for the play and intermission. Bring a seat/back cushion; or the theater offers them for $1. The restroom facilities are nice & clean! This place is very well maintained! Consider leaving a donation for the unpaid actors and/or the venue. Optional, of course; but I was certainly moved to! I purchased three tickets but used only two. I was prepared to take the cost of the third ticket as a loss (not a tremendous loss, but a loss nonetheless). However, Evan graciously offered to keep a credit on the books for me for my next visit (any production). What a sweetheart!

Drinks and snacks are available just outside the venue. Only water is allowed in the theater. You can also bring your own food/picnic, arrive early, and take advantage of the tables and chairs set up around this beautiful little oasis. It's small, intimate, quiet, beautiful! Perfect for nature lovers! There are a couple of local restaurants nearby.

My husband and I have been to several plays at the Theatricum and have enjoyed them all but The Royal Family was our favorite. It was both humorous and touching and overall very entertaining.

I enjoyed the play due to the wonderful performers. They really got into the spirit of the play.

I have been to Merling and The Royal Family. The location is amazing. But the content of the play has been lackluster each time.

Also, during the intermission, they ask for donations. Not professional in my book as I paid for my tickets. ...continued
