There are chips, candy, sodas, and water available for purchase during Intermission, but the only thing you can take into the theater is water.

The weather was Balmy. I wore A sweater...the inside of the theater was a little chilly, so I was comfortable..

No food or drink is allowed inside the theater. The lobby is still safe, though.

The Avo is a converted historic movie theater. Seating is general admission and there's limited accessible seating.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Seating is ALL General Admission, so get in line by 6:15 to see this show. We arrived at about 6:25 and there were already at least 70 people waiting to get in when they opened the doors at 6:30. The theater seats over 350, so we had a good choice of seats, but if we had done our usual habit of arriving 5 minutes before the show to slide into our assigned seats, we'd have been horribly disappointed.

There is nothing in the way of eating places right by the theater that are open at night. There is a Chili's on the way plus some other faster food choices a short drive away. Don't drink too much...the play is long. The line for the ladies room during intermission was VERY long!

Although we arrived 1/2 hour before the show, there was a LONG line to get in. It was a very hot day & waiting in the sun was uncomfortable. The seats were a bit worn... continued

Fantastic experience. We drove to Vista from El Cajon. Very much worth the drive. Tip: Get there early to get good seats.

Terrific show! Held over for one more week. Opportunity not to be missed.
Only down-side is open seating, so get in very line early. Small venue, so AT LEAST an hour and a half before box office opens.
