How many times have you wished that you could snap your fingers and your own private masseuse would appear out of nowhere to magically get that kink out of your neck or reduce your stress headache? If you attend tonight’s seminar, you’ll be on your way to enjoying the benefits of massage, either by giving one or receiving one .. hopefully more of the latter. Massage is a nice present to share with anyone who you think is deserving, whether it be a work colleague, your dry cleaner or someone you would like to know better.

Massage is the ancient technique of manipulating the muscles and soft tissues of the body for pain relief and relaxation. You will actually learn and practice basic massage techniques on the neck, shoulders, hands and scalp. You will also receive an overview of the role of massage in modern health care for reducing stress and easing chronic pain conditions. No oils or creams are necessary – wear loose, comfortable clothing.

About the instructor: Our instructor has a Bachelor of Science degree from Arizona State University and is a graduate of the Baltimore School Of Massage. He is a nationally certified massage therapist and has maintained a private practice in Washington for over 15 years. He lectures and teaches massage courses and seminars at a variety of locations in the greater Washington area, including George Washington University, Carroll Community College, The Baltimore School of Massage, and other local businesses and educational institutions.
