Washington Bach Consort Plays 20th-Century Christmas Music in Ceremony & Celebration
The angelic sounds of the harp and the voices of the Washington Bach Consort highlight Ceremony & Celebration: Christmas With the Consort, a festive concert for the holiday season featuring some of the best classical sounds of the season. This concert celebrates British composer Benjamin Britten's 100th birthday with his work A Ceremony of Carols, and features a colorful Christmas cantata by American composer John La Montaine. Joining the Consort for this show is harpist Eric Sabatino, a critically acclaimed performer and the harp soloist for the Concert Band and Symphony Orchestra, The United States Air Force Band.
