Wow! Patrick Page rocks the house. It is a not-to-be-missed opportunity to enjoy this wonderful play. Sitting in the third row (thanks Goldstar!) allows one to see the build up of emotion, especially in the dramatic moment between mother and...continued

The play is so much fun anyway, and the cast is good. I particularly always enjoy the good seats I get through Goldstar - 2nd row, just off center this time. Fun combination of Rush Limbaugh, Rambo, the presidential conventions, and 17th century...continued

We encountered three obstructions to enjoying this - first, we were seated in the first row, the seats on the furthest side, so we had to turn our bodies to see the action. Second,
the seats were extremely uncomfortable, and we were in pain by...continued

Excellent production. Patrick Page was great as Coriolanus. Good use of drums etc. Good seats 3rd row on left. I never like newer language in such plays but this one was not overdone.

Coriolanus was a compelling and fascinating drama, very fast-paced and cleverly staged. The performance by the actor playing Coriolanus was outstanding. It's a shame that the theater was only half full for this wonderful play.

The acting was incredibly good. Corialanus was really good as was his mother. The drums were a little much but everything else was phenomenal.

Coriolanus is another example of Shakespeare's brilliance in shining a spotlight on the human condition. The play once is further proof that "the more we change, the more we stay the same." Great acting and creative staging. Everyone involved...continued

I was given terrible seats in a house less than half-full. After spending act one seeing the backsides of the actors, I moved at intermission. Among the poorer of the 50 or so Shakespeare productions I have seen. Most of the cast (with the...continued

We have been season ticket holders to Folger Theatre for many years and also go fairly frequently to the Shakespeare Theatre. Coriolanus was an excellent production of a play you don't see performed that often. We got Goldstar seats at half price...continued

An outstanding production. Patrick Page was superb in the lead, brining out the depth of a unique character in Shakespeare's tragedies. There was many very strong supporting performers. This is a very strong production.

Terrific production of a rarely-seen play. Patrick Page is superb, and Diane D'Aquila and Derrick Lee Weeden offer excellent support. Go see it!

The play was well done, and the actress playing the mother was wonderful. I enjoy Shakespeare's sense of humor and it showed in this production.

Very well acted, excellent production - good translation into a modern perspective.
I loved the costumes combining the modern militaristic styling with the roman toga.
The staging was fantastic - great sets, great use of music, good casting.

Fabulous interpretation of a difficult Shakespeare play. The acting was brilliant, particularly Coriolanus and his mother. A must see for lovers of the Bard.

Wow!!! Maybe my best Shakespeare experience ever. Magnificent performances by the cast, excellent casting, set and staging. Patrick Page gives a stunning performance as Coriolanus, as does Diane D'Aquila as his mother. Go!!!
