Danity Kane: Chart-Topping Girl Group Reunites
The multi-platinum, international, chart topping, independent female music group Danity Kane originally formed on MTV's hit series Making the Band and signed with Bad Boy/Atlantic Records in 2005 under the direction of Sean "Diddy" Combs. With radio hits like "Showstopper" and "Damaged," they proved to be legitimate industry artists. Their freshman and sophomore albums, Danity Kane and Welcome to the Dollhouse, both debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 chart, making them the first female group in Billboard's history to consecutively debut albums at No. 1, earning them a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records. After disbanding for a brief time, they're back together and embarking on their The Universe Is Undefeated Tour. See them live in concert when they come to the Howard Theatre in Washington D.C.
