Don't count on getting a taxi cab afterwards. They were giving priority pick-up to Uber & private cars. I would recommend the Foggy Bottom shuttle & taking the Metro if you can.

Avoid the garage at the KenCen at all costs: a rip-off. At the very least, park at the garage next door for $12. If you can't take the Metro to GW (and then the free shuttle to the KenCen), you can try parking on the street NEAR the Metro and then jumping on the bus. And then you can get a bite to eat before (or after).

We totally enjoyed the play and felt that the person who played Elf was spectacular in capturing the essence of the character.
