IMAX is a great way to view action-packed movies. Ghost Protosol was great..it felt as if you were there alongside the characters. This is also a great venue: very clean, easy parking on a Friday night, mature crowd.

Description

Director Brad Bird and producer J.J. Abrams bring us the action-packed Mission: Impossibe – Ghost Protocol. The IMF is shut down when it’s implicated in the bombing of the Kremlin, causing Ethan Hunt and his new team to go rogue to clear their organization’s name.

As a special feature, attendees will also get a sneak preview of exclusive footage from the first six minutes of The Dark Knight Rises, the much-anticipated follow-up to the 2008 blockbuster The Dark Knight.

The Samuel C. Johnson Theater at the National Museum of Natural History features an IMAX three-dimensional (3D) large screen format theater, which incorporates a 15 perforations per frame, 70 millimeter (15/70) film projection system that runs at 24 frames per second. A state-of-the-art, digitally programmable audio system provides six channels of high fidelity, surround sound.

Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol ~ The IMAX Experience begins at 8:40pm and runs for 2 hours, 13 minutes. After the movie join Professionals in the City for a reception at a nearby venue; complimentary appetizers will be available while supplies last and drinks are at your own expense. Please tip the servers for their help with tonight’s event.
