This is an EXCEPTIONAL play. Brilliant staging and outstanding actors. We truly had an amazing evening. We had ordered the prix fixe dinner in advance from the Catwalk Cafe and all four of us enjoyed the food and ambiance.

Outstanding play. I usually don't like to see plays that just rehash typical family drama, but this one was remarkably well written. Great set and great theater to see it. Acting was good overall but I saw it opening night and there were still...continued

Set and acting very good; lead young actress needs more seasoning, I'm afraid, but did a good job. Play itself is very well written, above the typical play.

Intriguing premise -- a daughter reveals family secrets in her memoir and confronts her family. First act has spectacular acting but it begins to feels predictable. Then, half-way into Act 2, a shattering surprise and re-thinking of the past. The...continued

Overall, I am glad I saw this production, but it took me well into the second act to get over my irritation at the over the top stereotypes embodied by all the characters. The second act redeemed the show, allowing for a more nuanced view of the...continued

Arena Stage offers a pleasant experience all around. We found street parking by arriving early. Every seat in the theater is a good seat, and the play was enjoyable. It was quite a good deal compared to Broadway prices.

Excellent production of a searing family drama. Strong cast, and a few more bitter than sweet laughs along the way.

The play was excellent in all respects -- script, acting set etc. -- but Arena Stage is a dreadful place to navigate for people with disabilities. However, the accessible seating in the top row is fine and the hearing device worked pretty well...continued

The play was boring and repetitive. The second act was better than the first. I also thought that some of the acting could have been better. I was disappointed.

First act uninteresting and too long; got better in second act. With some editing, could be much better

An interesting play, but the acting wasn't quite up to the task, so it dragged from time to time--

Excellent play - Writing very clever and in depth character development. Play started out somewhat talky but soon became very engrossing. The cast did an excellent job.

This was a wonderful show with plenty of drama and lots of laughs. It was very thought provoking. My husband and I are still talking about it! I would highly recommend it. Thanks to Goldstar the tickets were very reasonable.

Well done and thought provoking. It was a bit hard to hear some of the lines. We were in the next-to-top row. The father's lines were especially hard to hear times, Other than that, we enjoyed the play and the experience.
