I thought the script was really lame: sophomoric and second rate. The staging was a little better, but the show used stagecraft that's been around for hundreds of years, literally: ropes and trunks and cloth flags. All I knew before I went was...continued

Thought it was terrible. No story and if there was one, it wasn't evident (and this view was shared by 3 other people who walked out at the same time, before intermission, as we did) and there was little music.

Great seats, short ticket pick-up line. The show was a lot of fun and the cast was great. The first act was a little slow, but still entertaining. The second act was fantastic. Entertaining for all ages, with plenty of sly adult humor (and even a...continued

I liked it a lot. It's a fun and poignant origin story of the nameless Boy who becomes Peter Pan. Follow the link below for my full review.

Very funny play! It is worth seeing. I missed seeing it in NYC, so I was pleased that it is on a national tour.

Funny and smart. You do not have to be familiar with the Peter Pan stories for the play to be amusing.

It was like a very unfunny Monte Python show. BORING!

A quirky and funny swashbuckler, though it struck rather an odd tone - not quite children's theatre, but not quite *not* - perhaps attributable to the source material being a YA novel. A clever script, but the lyrical language was sometimes lost...continued

Liked it in the end. The minimal sets/costumes took some getting used to, especially sorting out who was who.

Parked at the Kennedy Center. Ate upstairs at the rooftop cafe, which is much improved since my last visit. Great seat.

Such a fun and hilarious show! Definitely go even if you don't have kids. There are a lot of jokes that are targeted to an adult audience.

Creative staging, clever writing, gifted performers. It was a magical night. I have told all my friends it's a must-see.
And Kennedy Center always offers comfortable seating and easy parking. Made a fabulous night even better.

Great use of props and witty staging throughout, but still felt a little slight and disappointing. Second half picks up, and the cast certainly works hard.

Not for everyone. A young spirited spoof silly show for adults that some did not like; many around us complained and some did not return after break time. The acting was excellent, not a musical in the traditional singing sense. So, make sure...continued

The seats weren't ideal, but other than that I had a great time. Easy ticket pick-up, and the show is very good. Perfect for families!

Meh. Disappointed after so much buildup and raves from friends who saw it in NYC. It seems a little forced, and it also seems a little lost in the big Eisenhower Theater.
