Excellent show. Well worth the travel time from Baltimore to DC. Powerful performances from both actors. I laughed and I cried.

Description

Spanning a 20 year period of tumultuous social change, Second Line is the story of two black college students whose lives are shaped by the stormy events of the 1960s and ’70s. Although deeply in love, Bennie and JoJo find their commitment to each other challenged by tough social choices that force them to examine what they risk winning or losing by taking a stand on civil rights and Vietnam.
