The Woman in Black Leads You to a Tragic, Ghostly World
Fall is the perfect time for some spine-tingling theater. Keegan Theatre presents the second longest-running non-musical play in the history of London's West End (after Agatha Christie's The Mousetrap). Adapted for stage by Stephen Mallatratt from the classic thriller by Susan Hill, The Woman in Black transports you to a remote village in Scotland, where a young lawyer has just arrived to settle the estate of his deceased client, Mrs. Drablow. While attending her funeral, he notices a young woman, dressed all in black, standing in the churchyard -- but no one appears willing to speak to her. Later, going through Mrs. Drablow's papers, he finds a box of letters that reveal the dreadful secret of the Woman in Black. Will she have her vengeance on the young solicitor? You'll be looking over your shoulder for the remainder of your evening after experiencing this unremitting and haunting tale.
