The seminars/talks were good, but I missed having Rick Steves as a speaker. The booths were informative. However, this year I couldn't find anyone (speakers or vendors) passing out the RFID blocking credit card sleeves.

The talks were informative even for an experienced traveler. I visit virtually all the booths. I bought a hotel stay and am now booked on a Celebrity cruise. Plus I have ideas for future travel.

Lots of focus on African Safaris and East Coast destinations (Jersey shore, Maine, NC & Fla.).

Pretty much the same thing every year. I went for information about a trip and booked a trip to South Africa.

I had so been looking forward to this event - and feel it was a bust. The event (we arrived about 11:00 on Saturday) was far too crowded - even with 4 "theaters" - every seat was full and the aisles were packed. I wish better travel instructions...continued

I was looking for info on a domestic region and didn't find it. I was a little put off by all the deals and come-ons. Many, esp. tour operators and foreign destinations were out to make a buck and that's not why I went. This was my 2nd time...continued

It's always an interesting experience. The major travel companies were not present this year, and the same speakers year after year do not provide the fresh ideas a variety of new speakers would. On the whole, a worthwhile and enjoyable afternoon.

It seemed that there weren't as many vendors this year. I did discover some interesting vendors such as Cuisine Noir and Go Eat Give.

The Travel & Adventure show wasn't as big as previous years and had less exhibitors. I did enjoy, Peter Greenberg's presentation but was disappointed to learn that they did not have his book for sale. Which kind of defeats the purpose of having...continued

Less and less...every year this event seems to scale down more and more. For example, this year there wasn't the Scuba tank.
I still enjoy all the speakers, e.g. Samantha Brown and Rick Steves- they're what makes the show.

Lots of vendors trying to sell you something (tour package, goods, etc). However, I got a lot of information on places of interest and I enjoyed the shows/ seminars. The highlights for me were the Global Beats Stage, with dance performances, and...continued

Great one-stop shopping to learn about travel opportunities that you probably wouldn't come across on your own. Rick Steves's presentation was great.

I expected to be able to purchase exclusive deals or to find trinkets or goodies specific to each locale. However, I found a lot of books for sale and informational brochures. It was kinda disappointing, but I also had no idea about what to expect.

A lot of nations missing from the event. A lot of non-travel booths hawking their wares and distracting. Stage presentations were excellent.

It was very nice. However, I was disappointed that there were no booths representing Canada and U.S. Travel/Transportation groups such as VanMoose..

It's a strange show. Some places are overrepresented (e.g., Nepal), while many popular destinations are scarcely present (e.g., Europe!). Also, there was a large number of firms that had nothing to do with travel (e.g., home improvement) and were...continued

Never having attended a travel show, I found it a kinda tame. Mostly just tables with brochures on 'em and an attendant who smiled and answered questions if you asked about their country, state, service, etc. I had thought there would be more...continued

The speakers were great, but the booths were lacking. How could it be that out of 100 or so booths, there wasn't a single one representing a European country (I'm not counting Iceland because their booth was empty all day)? Some of the booths...continued
