Don't count on getting a taxi cab afterwards. They were giving priority pick-up to Uber & private cars. I would recommend the Foggy Bottom shuttle & taking the Metro if you can.

Avoid the garage at the KenCen at all costs: a rip-off. At the very least, park at the garage next door for $12. If you can't take the Metro to GW (and then the free shuttle to the KenCen), you can try parking on the street NEAR the Metro and then jumping on the bus. And then you can get a bite to eat before (or after).

Probably one of the most enjoyable operas I have heard in a long time. It was just beautiful.

Radvanovsky was absolutely delightful. She touched us from her first notes and we were under her charm for a long time after the show ended.

The lead singers, two sopranos and a tenor, are outstanding. That is especially so for the title character played by Sondra Radvanovsky, a world renowned performer. Her role is large and she has several long arias and duets that enable fantastic...continued
