Laurel & Hardy Silent Shorts Plus the Mighty Wurlitzer
Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy were one of the most critically acclaimed comedy teams of early American movies. Their films, produced by Hal Roach during the 1920s and '30s, defined their legacy and have stood the test of time. See a screening of several of Laurel and Hardy's silent shorts from their early career at The Hanover Theatre for the Performing Arts in Worcester, including Putting Pants on Phillip (1927), Leave 'Em Laughing (1928), The Finishing Touch (1928), Habeas Corpus (1928) and That's My Wife (1929). But you won't only be hearing the sound of laughter during these silent films, because Clark Wilson will provide live accompaniment on the Mighty Wurlitzer Organ.
