Musician, singer, songwriter and record producer Anthony Hamilton rose to fame with his platinum-selling album Comin’ from Where I’m From in 2003. The album featured the single “Comin’ from Where I’m From” and the follow-up “Charlene.” Hamilton has been nominated for a whopping 17 Grammy Awards, and winner of one with “You’ve Got The Love I Need,” a duo with Al Green, which captured Best Traditional R&B Performance. He is also well known for the song “Freedom” from the soundtrack album of Django Unchained, co-writen and sung as a duo with indie soul singer Elayna Boynton.
