Live in the Lounge: Las Colibri All-Female Mariachi Tickets

Mariachi continues to be a profound source of cultural pride for millions of Mexican Americans, and this year, we are amplifying the voices of Latina women and bringing the music to the historic Ebell stage. Las Colibri, or “The Hummingbirds,” are passionate about music, performance, education, community (and girl power). From their costumes that nod to the Mexican film divas of the 40s and 50s to returning to the all-stringed instrumentation of early 20th-century Mariachi, these women are flying into new territory and defying their genre by honoring cultural traditions. A cash bar and refreshments will be available.
