About CABARET at the Kit Kat Club on Broadway
Wilkommen to Cabaret, the latest revival of the John Kander, Fred Ebb, and Joe Masteroff musical classic starring Eddie Redmayne (The Theory of Everything) and Gayle Rankin (Glow). The August Wilson Theatre is now the Kit Kat Club, where life is beautiful — and so is this award-winning production. Cabaret tickets will be available on Goldstar soon.
Cabaret follows the patrons and performers at an underground Berlin nightclub, who live their lives in hedonism until Nazism infiltrates every inch of their worlds, including the once-escapist Kit Kat Club. Come taste the wine, come hear the band — and come witness one of the most searing, timeless, and most iconic tales in musical theatre history.
The time-honored talents of Kander, Ebb, and Masteroff meet new talent in the form of director Rebecca Frecknall, who makes her Broadway debut with Cabaret after making waves with her revival overseas. Don't miss one of the most anticipated productions of the season.
Cabaret highlights
Frecknall's production of Cabaret debuted in London in 2021 and still runs there today. That show won seven Olivier Awards, including Best Musical Revival and Best Director, making it the winningest show of the year. Nearly 60 years on from its premiere, everyone still wants to come to the cabaret, old chum.
- Celebrities come to the cabaret. The London production's starry cast members have included Eddie Redmayne, Jessie Buckley, Maude Apatow, Jake Shears, and more. You never know who you'll see at the cabaret — on stage or in the audience.
- Escape into the Kit Kat Club. Scenic and costume designer Tom Scutt is also the club designer, transforming every inch of the August Wilson Theatre — not just the stage — into the cabaret, complete with performances in every corner.
- Come hear the music play. This revival lets you experience Cabaret in a unique way, but you'll still hear the classic Kander and Ebb songs you know and love, like "Wilkommen," "Mein Herr," "Maybe This Time," and the title song.
