About Legends and Fairytales Featuring Phoenix Swing Project
The Arizona Wind Symphony presents it's season opener, "Legends and Fairytales" Featuring the Phoenix Swing Project. Under the baton of newly appointed director, Jon Gomez the band will perform works of Glenn Miller, Leonard Bernstein's West Side Story, Stephen Sondheim's Into the Woods, and more gems from John Philip Sousa, Percy Grainger, and Gustav Holst. The Tempe Center for the Arts Lounge offers a "Drink of the Night" which corrolates with the theme of the concert.
