Sunday February 22, 2009 / 11:30amSan Francisco Bay Champagne Brunch Cruise
How was your experience?
Our cruise was on a rainy grey day. It was easy to find out ship and to be seated. There was a photographer taking photos before we boarded. Our vessel left exactly on time. There were drinks being served the moment we were seated. The champagne was not bad. The coffee was okay. The sea swell was too large to make it all the way out to the Golden Gate but we had a lovely view of San Francisco and went all the way around Alcatraz which was really gorgeous. There were a bunch of sail boats out on the water and we pulled up next to a huge cargo ship which made us feel small. The food was excellent. There were breakfast pastries, croissants, and fresh fruit. We had two types of salad, spinache quiche, peach cobbler, sausage, bacon, eggs, cured ham and prime rib cut on the spot. There were also deserts but I was too full to have any. The seating was comfortable, the atmosphere was nice. I would definately do this again (perhaps a dinner cruise) on a sunnier day.
