How was your experience?
Painful. To sit through. Very bad writing, full of trite phrases and preachy to the extreme. Art is more powerful when it simply tells a captivating story, rather than beating the audience over the head with a “lesson” learned. Please leave the preaching and teaching to the pulpit. The acting was a mixed bag - 60% fair, 30% very amateur. However, the best part of the play was Job’s wife. Wow! She was incredibly believable, emotionally moving (I was moved to tears), and truly authentic. Dancing was done well and costumes were excellent, too.
