Sesame Street Live Elmo's Green Thumb
2 tickets

How was your experience?

Clear I hated it I didn't like it It was OK I liked it I loved it!
My 2.5 year old does not sit very long for a long time so I was not sure what to expect. Well, I was surprised. My son was entertained the entire time and wanted to know where Elmo if he left the stage. While the title says, "Elmo's Green Thumb" all of the Sesame Street Characters are all there. The songs are preschool oriented as if you were watching the TV show. They even had the new tv characters such as Rosita and Abbey Cadabby. This was an excellant Children's theatre production. I highly recommend it! There was also a 15 minute Intermission which was great because I was able to give him a snack and drink. I have two compliants, they are the other parents and balloon selling. I don't understand why parents were feeding their kids snacks inside the theatre during the production. They were not at the movies. The theatre and the movie theatre are two separate venues. Please wait to feed your children until the Intermission. The people in front of me were feeding their daughter and my son was asking me for food. I want my son to understand patience and not submit to the mentality of instant gratification. My son waited and he was happy. I was surprised theatre staff were not enforcing no food inside the theatre. My other compliant were the selling of Elmo balloons inside the theatre during the Intermission. They are not allowed to be flown and they are a distraction to others. I did see the staff telling many parents to put their balloons down but why sell them in the first place inside the theatre? I don't understand. I am not a bitter person but just a decent person with manners. I have been to the theatre before to see mainstream productions and so I have ettiquette and respect for the theatre.
