How was your experience?
The opening number unfortunately had a gliche with the microphone not working so my first impression was, "oh no, it's all going to be lip synched?!" This is going to be a real dud of a show. Then the 2nd act was the girls. The 3 female singers aren't nearly as good as the men. There is no cohesiveness or individual talent that shines through. They need better choreography to be entertaining. It felt kind of uncomfortable watching and listening to them. Don't sit in the 2nd row, b/c their sequins blind you everytime they stand or walk in front of you. Speaking of seating. I think if you give us priority seating, we should have the choice of where we want to sit and not be forced to sit in "reserved" seats we may not want. We might not want to be picked on to have the spotlight on us. The men have great harmony and talent. They are much more entertaining. However, there was too much audience interaction. After all, we know you aren't real superstars so we don't want to kiss or hug you. We just want better entertainment. Several of the songs weren't familiar or famously popular so you couldn't relate to it with bygone memories which is why we would want to attend a "Motown Madness" show in the first place. All in all, it was just an okay show.
