How was your experience?

Clear I hated it I didn't like it It was OK I liked it I loved it!
Simply put, the wine tasting and cruise made for a poor "pairing". The boat is beautiful. The scenery on this 28 mile journey - including some 30 bridges) was incredible. Lived here my whole life here and never saw the city this way. A little background from the captain would have been nice - no information forthcoming at all. The rest of the crew seemed disinterested. The wine expert spent the first half hour telling us how incredibly qualified she was. The last half hour was spent whining about how poorly reimbursed she was for her time and the wine. And you couldn't escape - loudspeakers on deck carried the "lesson". As for the wine - 6 sparkling wines ranging in price from $9 to $16 bottle (average $11) - I checked this out later. You got about 1/5 glass for each tasting - some seemed to get more. The "tapas" you ask? In order of appearance - a bowl of potato chips, a piece of melon wrapped w/ prosciutto, a small skewer of chicken, a cocktail bread w/ cream cheese and lox, a mini slice pizza (?frozen?), a piece of chocolate. The cruise - a delight. Everything else, very disappointing. I suggest The Manhattan look at other things to pair with this glorious boat and magnificent scenery. For my $65 / ticket, I expected more.

Help others enjoy a great night out

Can be very windy - dress appropriately
Eat lunch before the 2:30 departure - the "tapas" won't do it
Camera - incredible photo ops
Keep your eyes open at the
Cliffs just past the Henry Hudson Bridge - jumpers into the river off the giant C
