How was your experience?
Soooo not what i expected! One word to describe it...GHETTO FABULOUS! Initially, we were supposed to go with 2 other couples and it's good that they were unable to go because i would have been embarrassed for choosing such a cheezy place. First of all, it's starts at 7:30 not 7. The yacht is old and ugly inside. And there is not much privacy, our table was about 10 inches from another couples. They start you off with appetizers, which have been sitting at your table for who know's how long! We had 1 grape, 1 strawberry, 1 sm. cheese croissant, 2 sm. stale tasting toast, and this disgusting thing called 'Apple Glaze' OMG that thing was nasty and I love food ok. It tastes like apples, red bell peppers marinated in Italian dressing. Gross! Then they brought over some old rolls. The actual meal was pretty good though but it could be improved. The dancing area is downstairs and it's about a 7x7 area with a so called DJ who is a much older man with a tiny sound system. No one danced! They also have an upper deck where you can either view the ocean from some stylish plastic tables and chairs, or you can go into the smelly lounge area with old couches and dirty carpeting which look like they need a major deep cleaning, but let me tell you that this 'yacht' only drives in circles in the Marina area so you have a nice view of apartments & parked boats! Oh and i can't forget that my husband's wine glass was dirty! And to top it off they charge 15% gratuity & $5 parking. I had much higher expectations for this $170 event for 2. I will NEVER get ripped off like that again! I plan to write & complain to Hornblower Cruises.
