How was your experience?
In my view, the play is pathetic. Although a lot is happening: a death, birth, break-ups etc, there is no dramatic development what so ever. The "fresh" device of characters pronouncing aloud their stage remarks wears off almost immediately and becomes annoying. It is probably superfluous to add that the acting was cartoonish, unless the director really wanted to present caricatures instead of real people. After seeing at the Studio "Rock-n-Roll" and "Moonlight," this play was a shock for me. The only saving grace is that it was half-price. I just saw "Antony and Cleopatra," another pretentious piece of entertainment at full price...
