How was your experience?
I found the play interesting and thought-provoking. It is not for anybody who is sensitive about language or sexual expressions. This is not quite experimental theater, but it falls outside the standard story-telling format and instead presents characters and emotionally charged circumstances in an unusual way. I loved the language and the totally unique combination of classic Greek theatrical elements (the chorus) with classic Yoruba mythology. I thought the lead actress was mis-cast and was the weakest actor in the ensemble. The strongest were the actors who played Elegba and Aunt Elegua.
