How was your experience?

Clear I hated it I didn't like it It was OK I liked it I loved it!
Sesame Street Live was the highlight of my young life, and I went every time it came to town. But that was back when Reagan was president, and I really don't remember it at all. Not to mention that I have not even seen the TV show in several years. I don't have any kids, so I can only comment how tolerable it is for adults. We decided to go go on a whim, since it is literally next door to our house, and we wanted to see what it was like. I thought it was really cute, if a bit cheesy Its not a Broadway show (obviously) but there were some good effects with blacklights, a decent number of set changes, and they really encourage the kids (and adults) to get up and dance with them at times. The scene with Elmo in the middle dragged on a bit too long and was probably the low point of the show (Elmo was a bit player back in my day, I never understood how he got so popular). Bottom line, very few adults are going by themselves (we may have been the only ones for all I know), but if you can find some sort of cheesy enjoyment out of the TV show, or anything else that involves singing, then it is worth checking out, and most importantly, the kids all seemed to be having a good time.

Help others enjoy a great night out

If you really need a strong drink, do it before, there was nothing inside.
Take the train if you can, it stops 1 block from the theater.
Black tie affair, to be sure ;-)
