How was your experience?

Clear I hated it I didn't like it It was OK I liked it I loved it!
I thought this ride didn't live up to its hype. The boat is relatively fast; but for me, at least, most of the speed and the turns weren't at all "adventuresome". The fast stops were an interesting diversion. We had nice weather, so the route itself offered appealing views of the cityscape and Yerba Buena Island, and we enjoyed the novelty of going under the Bay Bridge. Others on the boat (mostly out-of-towners, I believe) seemed to be more thrilled than we were, for what it's worth. Two logistical points: The swap of the Goldstar certificate is done at a ticket kiosk serving the Blue & Gold Fleet and several different tours. The staging and queueing area for departure is right behind the kiosk, and shares a dock with the larger Blue & Gold Fleet boats. Be sure to confirm that you're in the proper queue.
