How was your experience?
The venue is excellent. I don't think there are really any bad seats in the place, unless you're up in the balcony, which no one was. It was not a sold-out event, although I don't know why not. The opening singer, Jim McLean, was really good for a solo guitarist/singer. And, Joan was awesome. I've never seen her before and for the most part was not even familiar with much of her work. The one song I went to hear her sing, Stronger Love, she didn't even sing. But she's very engaging and got the crowd on their feet. She's also funny and fun which made it nice and that accent, oh my, love it! It was a little more rock n roll, but she did well mixing it up. And, she is a great guitarist, going between about 4 guitars throughout her set. Great vocals too with a nice range in her voice. All in all, it was a nice evening and I was happy I went.
