How was your experience?
The Tillicum Village Salmon Bake Cruise was amazing for the price and very entertaining. It's a 4 hour trip consist for 45 mins for the ferry ride to blake island and 45 mins return trip. The staff is very friendly and informative. It's a very cultural experience of the Tillicum Village. They start off with a cup of fresh clams in clear broth when you get to the island. Then they show you how the grilled salmon is made by the fire pits. Then you get to have an all-you-can eat salmon and dinner buffet int he dinning louge. There is also a stage in the dinning louge in which they perform and dance. They also have coffee and desert. After dinner, you get to lounge on the island or head to the gift shop. The down time is approxiamtely 45 mins. Then you hop on the ferry and go home. Make sure you wear a warm jacket if you are going in the evening (630pm). The sunset on the cruise is amazing, great for pictures. The check in process was very simple, and they also have photos taken of you prior to boarding if you want to save the memories. Overall, this experience was amazing for the price and the fresh salmon buffet. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is traveling in seattle for a few hours to get away, relax, be entertained and eat happy.
