How was your experience?

Clear I hated it I didn't like it It was OK I liked it I loved it!
The concert was great. Train is very good live. Everyone was standing for the song "Hey, Soul Sister" and it was a magical feeling to be part of it. The Greek Theater is an outstanding venue with fantastic acoustics. Since it's outdoors, you not only see the stage & lights, but also the open night sky surrounded trees and hills. Since it's still very warm in Los Angeles, the night air felt refreshing, but not cold. Our seats were on the south Terrace and I was worried that our view wouldn't be good. But as it turns out, there really is no bad seat in the entire theater. Parking was the biggest challenge. You have the choice of either stacked ($15) or non-stacked ($20). Stacked is tandem parking. You may have to wait until the person in front of you gets to their car before you can leave. I'd advise spending the extra $5 and go for the non-stacked. Otherwise, park down the hill a little bit (On Hillhurst) and just walk. "Dine & Ride" may also be a nice option for those looking to have dinner before the show. Good music under the stars, mixed with a bit of humor by the band, made for an wonderful night I won't soon forget.

Help others enjoy a great night out

Wear comfortable shoes. Also bring a jacket if the weather is cold.
Arrive early. Opt for non-stacked parking.
Park down the hill on Hillhurst to avoid parking fee/traffic. Walk to the venue (15 min walk)
Look at "Dine & Ride" option. Includes dinner at nearby restaurants and shuttle drop-off/pick-up
Many great restaurants just down the hill. Have dinner/drinks before the show.
Reserve a picnic basket at the venue. The food was tasty and plentiful, albeit slightly expensive
