How was your experience?
Not worth the extra price for the New Years show which was almost exactly like the regular show except they gave us some cheap party favors and a plastic glass of champagne at midnight. Annoying contant hawking of photos, alcohol, trinkets for the kids and tips. $6 for a glass of cheap red wine and $15-20 for souvenir 5x7 photo. We never saw any sign of the advertised continental breakfast although we stayed until 1230. Excellent horsemanship by the riders and trainers; a bit of lippizaner stallion type show mixed in with jousting. Lots of cool sword fighting & jousting but some in our party commented it went on a bit long. Food was ok & plentiful: we each got half a chicken, half baked potato, soup, apple pie triangle and iced tea or soda. It's fun but recommend you only go if you can get a 30-50% discount from the regular pricing.
