How was your experience?
This is a lovely and confident production, with versatile and skilled actors and a minimal but well-designed set. Every moment of the evening is filled with genuine affection and respect for both the play and its characters, and it was a pleasure to be touched by that affection and respect. There are challenges, however. It's tough to get one's bearings when the play begins. I would have liked Turing's memories handled somehow differently, both to make it clear that they are memories and to communicate more of the power these memories had over him. In addition, not much really happens until the second act. But if you are patient and relax and listen, it's worth it!
