How was your experience?

Clear I hated it I didn't like it It was OK I liked it I loved it!
We took this cruise to celebrate a couple family birthdays on a Thursday evening. Although the boat was terribly rocking in dock, the actual cruise was smooth, pleasant, and beautiful. We had a party of three and were seated by a window on the main floor. They provide a small flute of champagne or sparkling cider when you first begin to toast departure. Each course was scrumptious, and we definitely left full. I would strongly recommend the chocolate tower for dessert if you have it as a choice! During the cruise, there is onboard entertainment (a singer and musician trio) to play background and slow dancing music. It made the experience that much more enjoyable. They even took special requests for couples celebrating an anniversary who wanted to hear "their song." For the birthday folks, they sang a nice rendition of "Happy Birthday" and acknowledged all the birthdays at the same time. You're also able to venture outside on the 3rd deck, which was fabulous for snapping pictures after dinner. It's great that the price is inclusive now - we didn't order appetizers or alcohol, so we didn't even see a copy of the bill during our cruise. It was great to simply show up and enjoy. I'm not sure if it was our waitress or the fact that gratuity is included with the dinner price, but she was not on top of refilling any of the soft drinks or water. Be prepared to flag someone down so you don't feel parched.
