How was your experience?
I liked the setting, nice seating and stage, but bring something soft to sit on...and it does get chilly at night, even in the summer, so bring a jacket or thick sweater. The dancing was mostly Indian style, with some modern twists, very professional. I couldn't stop watching one extemely talented dancer, Jon Paul, amazing ability and a delight to watch. The costumes were colorful and creative. At the beginning it was advertised there would be Indian food, but not enough choices for my friends. The other food (offered by the Amphitheatre) was too expensive for what it was. I saw people bring their own gourmet picnics and wine, a good idea! I also wish there had been more tables and chairs...and more plants or flowers (in pots or planters) to decorate the concrete dining areas or have a grassy area to put down a picnic blanket. All in all, I would go again, not to this event (the program was nice but too long! It also could've started an hour earlier...we were hungry at the end and all the near by restaurants were closed or closing--it was 10:45 p.m. by the time we got out of the parking lot...also they need to have a better parking system...either more parking, or have someone guiding people out of the very congested parking lot...we just avoided two accidents (barely!) with people trying to get out...also we were completely blocked in the lot...better to park and take shuttle from the Metro Station, the parking leaves a lot to be desired!
