How was your experience?
Let's start with the theatre. The people who checked you in were very friendly and informative. It is a really unique looking place. Come early to look around the decorated rooms. The seats were all good, each row being set up a higher level than the one before. As soon as we were let in, the actors came out to interact with us dressed in full costume. They really got the audience laughing and having a good time. They also posed for pictures graciously. The story was well done. Three out of the Four actors who were the main roles, especially Cyrano, were talented. I kept looking for how his nose was added, but kudos to the make up artist. The color was perfect to blend into his face and no lines were present that i could see. I would hesitate to call this show a musical. It was a play with a few songs in it. The singing was not Cyrano's strong point, but it is not meant to be either, since this is not a story being told through music. (or it would have been a Musical which it wasnt) The set was extremely simple, just a piano, but what the set was lacking, they made up for in the costumes. They were dazzling. We enjoyed the evening out, and the price just can't be beat! I would recommend seeing this play.
